Control

Under Control, you will find options and instructions for managing the server status and how to trigger a restart in case of errors.

The Control page allows you to manage the status of your server. For example, you can trigger a restart in the event of an error. Depending on the status of your server, different options are available to you.

Server Is Powered On

Powercycle

This constitutes a regular reboot. The server is shut down via ACPI and subsequently powered on again.

Forced Reset

This is a forced restart. Due to the nature of this, data loss may occur. This option is only recommended in situations where triggering a “Powercycle” has not produced any results.

Suspend

The server will be suspended, and you can resume execution at a later time. Please keep in mind that this cannot replace proper storage of file changes, as data loss may occur in case of interferences with the server.

Shutdown (ACPI)

Sends an ACPI shutdown signal to the system. This is the recommended way for shutting down your server.

Forced Poweroff

This constitutes a hard shutdown. Due to the nature of this, data loss may occur. This option is only recommended in situations where triggering a “Shutdown (ACPI)” has not produced any results.

Server Is Suspended

Resume

The server will attempt to resume operation at the point where it was suspended.

Forced Shutdown

This constitutes a hard shutdown. Due to the nature of this, data loss may occur. This option is only recommended in situations where “Resuming from suspension” has not produced any results and the server is unresponsive.

Server Is Powered Off

Start

This will start your server.
