Information and details regarding the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
You have the right to obtain information about your data stored by us at any time in accordance with Article 15 of the GDPR. To obtain this information, please contact us and prove that you are entitled to do so. The easiest way to do this is to log in to the Customer Control Panel (CCP) and send us a request using the contact form.
We will then respond to your request by email to the email address you have provided us with.
We recommend that you print out the information you receive and store it in a safe place. Then, delete the email so that unauthorized persons cannot access the data.
Why does netcup not answer questions about how I can operate my website in compliance with the GDPR?
We are not permitted to provide you with legal advice. In Germany, the Legal Services Act regulates out-of-court legal advice. Only certain individuals, such as lawyers, legal advisors, tax advisors, and patent attorneys, are allowed to offer unrestricted legal advice outside of court in exchange for payment.
We will, of course, answer any questions you may have about how we store personal data if you or your customers are affected by data storage. However, we cannot explain how you must inform your own customers in accordance with the GDPR, which log files you can store and for how long, or address similar issues. We ask for your understanding in this matter and recommend that you contact a trusted lawyer, especially if you are pursuing commercial goals.
Does netcup have a Data Protection Officer?
