Provide us with

• your customer number.
• a date within the last 7 days (maximum today's date minus 6 days, as today is counted as day 1).
• the name of the affected web hosting (Hosting-1234).
• the name of the directories that need to be restored. Note that we need the exact path. You can view this in the Webhosting Control Panel (WCP) under Websites & Domains > Hosting & DNS > Hosting > Document root.
• the target directory for the restore (if you want to restore the content to a different directory).

We recommend backing up both the files and the database for a complete WordPress restore.

During a restore, files that existed at the time of the backup are restored, overwriting the corresponding files in the hosting. However, files not present at the time of the backup are not deleted or overwritten. Therefore, we recommend creating a manual backup of the current data and then deleting the files in the corresponding directory.

Provide us with

• The names of the databases that need to be restored. If you don't know them, you can find them in your application's configuration file. Example: For WordPress, you can find the database name in the file wp-config.php in the line "define( 'DB_NAME', 'k123456_wp_8lrr6' );".
• To restore a database, create a new empty database in which we can restore the data. Alternatively, we can store the database as a file on your hosting, which you can import yourself via the Webhosting Control Panel (WCP).
