Adding and Managing Subscriptions
Learn how to add and manage subscriptions for your reseller web hosting.
1. What Are Subscriptions?
Subscriptions are the web hosting packages booked by your customers, which include their domains. These subscriptions are based on a service plan template, which defines the services included in each subscription.
2. Adding Subscriptions
Getting Started
- Go to the Customers menu item.
- Click on the customer's name.
- Go to the Subscriptions tab.
- Click on Add Subscription.
- Select how you want your website to be created and delivered.
Configuring Settings
- If you already have a registered domain, select Registered domain name and enter the name of the main domain.
- Alternatively, you can select Temporary domain name if you have not yet registered a domain name. You can add the domain name later (only works for the main domain).
- Select a service plan.
- (Optional, for experienced users): If you want to customize the settings from the service package after creating the subscription, select the checkbox next to Proceed to customizing the subscription parameters after it is created. Note that this will lock the subscription for synchronization. This means that if you make changes to the service plan later, they will not be applied to the modified subscription.
- Ensure that the IPv4 address is selected.
- If you want your subscription to be accessible via an IPv6 address, select an address. IPv6 addresses can also be assigned multiple times. Note that the IPv6 address must be correctly stored in the DNS records.
- Enter the data for the system user of the subscription in Username and Password.
- Click Add subscription.
- The subscription has been created.
If the message Synchronization failed appears, go to: Synchronizing Service Plans
