Managing Databases

Learn how to manage your databases using the Webhosting Control Panel.

The number of available databases depends on the chosen Webhosting product.

1. Opening the Customer Control Panel (CCP)

  1. Log into the Customer Control Panel (CCP).
  2. Go to the Products menu item.
  3. Click the Magnifying Glass Icon next to the web hosting instance you want to manage the database of.
  4. In the Overview, under Plesk Panel Links, click Databases. 

2. Managing Databases

  1. You will be redirected to the Webhosting Control Panel (WCP).
  2. In the new window, you will see a list of your existing databases.
  3. Click on a database name to manage its contents, change the database user or password, or back up and restore the database.

3. Creating New Databases

  1. Click Add Database.
  2. Fill in the necessary details such as database name, related site, database username, and password.
  3. Click OK to create the database.
