Connecting a Domain to a Web Hosting Instance
Learn how to connect your domain to a web hosting.
1. Registering a Domain
- The first step to using an additional netcup domain with an existing netcup web hosting instance is to register a new domain.
- This process is documented in detail in this article.
- Once you have ordered a new netcup domain, you can proceed to step 2.
2. Opening the Customer Control Panel (CCP)
- Open the Customer Control Panel (CCP) and go to the Domains menu item.
- Click on the Magnifying Glass Icon next to the domain you want to connect to your web hosting.
- Go to the Administration tab.
3. Selecting the Web Hosting Instance
- Under Select Hosting, you will find a menu listing your currently active web hosting instances.
- Select the desired product and confirm your selection by clicking Allocate web hosting.
- This will be accessible via this new domain within a few minutes.
