Branding
Learn how to configure your own brand identity for the Plesk interface.
All content can be accessed via the neutral host name “webhosting.systems.” It is currently not possible to customize the colors of the design, as the Plesk hosting panel used does not offer this option for resellers via the web interface.
In the menu item Tools & Utilities, you can configure custom settings for your reseller packages.
1. Customizing Logo and Title Text
- Go to Tools & Utilities > Plesk Branding.
- Select the checkbox next to Enable custom titles on Plesk pages.
- Enter your desired title text.
- Select the checkbox next to Enable custom panel logo.
- Upload your desired logo. Use a GIF, JPEG, or PNG file.
- By default, the logo contains a hyperlink to the administration interface home page. Select Custom and enter your desired link if you want to link to a different page.
- Confirm your settings by clicking Save.
- Click Apply to make your changes visible.
You have the option to create your own buttons on the user interface. This makes it easier to access additional resources (link to your company's website, Help Center, or a web application).
- Go to Tools & Utilities > Custom Buttons.
- Click Add Link to Service.
- Show to me only: Select this checkbox if you want the button to be visible only to you. If you want it to be visible to you and all other users and resellers, leave the checkbox unselected.
- Enter a Button label and optional tooltip text.
- Select a location where you want the button to be placed:
6. Enter a URL.
7. Confirm your settings with OK.
3. Customizing Virtual Host Template
With custom templates, you can automatically provide predefined directory and file structures (your own scripts, error pages, websites) when creating new domains and subscriptions.
- Create a directory in your local file system.
- Create at least one of the following subdirectories within this directory:
- `cgi-bin`, for user-defined scripts.
- `httpdocs`, for user-defined documents and web content.
- `error_docs`, for user-defined error messages.
- `Webspace`, for user-defined files in the root directory of the subscription.
- Place the desired files in the respective directories.
- Pack the directories into an archive in TGZ, TAR, TAR.GZ, or ZIP format. Ensure that the directories (e.g., httpdocs, cgi-bin, etc.) are located in the root of the archive and not in a subdirectory.
- In the administration interface, go to Tools & Utilities > Virtual Host Template.
- Click on Upload and select your folders.
- The uploaded templates will then appear in the list.
