Plesk® - the all-in-one solution for hosting and server management

Plesk® greatly simplifies complex tasks. Websites, domains, subdomains and e-mail accounts can be created, managed and monitored with just a few clicks. Security functions such as firewall and DNS management, user and rights management and backup automation are also already integrated. Thanks to its modular structure, Plesk® can be adapted very flexibly and tailored precisely to your needs with extensions. The software supports all common operating systems for servers(Linux and Windows) and is available in multiple languages. This makes Plesk suitable for small companies or agencies that manage a small number of websites, as well as for hosting providers and resellers.

Plesk editions at netcup

We offer Plesk® licenses in three editions, so that the right model is available for every application:

  • Plesk® Web Admin Edition: Ideal for individual projects or smaller operators. Management of up to 10 domains including e-mail addresses and databases. Streamlined interface without superfluous additional features - perfect if you simply want to manage your own websites conveniently.
  • Plesk® Web Pro Edition: For advanced users, agencies or developers. Management of up to 30 domains with a full range of functions for professional websites. This edition offers advanced tools (e.g. the complete WordPress toolkit) and is suitable for efficiently operating and automating multiple customer projects.
  • Plesk® Web Host Edition: The most comprehensive version for hosting providers and resellers. Unlimited number of domains can be managed, including many Plesk® features. Enables reseller functions for creating your own customer accounts, full white label options and comprehensive domain management tools.

  • All editions are available for virtual servers as well as for root servers.

Useful Plesk® add-ons and extensions

In addition to the basic functions, further features can be added via Plesk® add-ons to specifically expand the hosting package. We provide the following Plesk® add-ons at a reasonable price:

 

  • Web Presence Builder (WPB): An intuitive website builder that allows you to create professional websites using drag-and-drop. Plesk® WPB offers numerous design templates and text modules so that attractive websites can be created in a short time, even without programming knowledge.
  • WordPress Toolkit: This provides additional functions for updates, cloning, staging and security checks specifically for all WordPress sites on the server.
  • Language packs: The Plesk® interface is available in German, English or French. Additional language packs can be activated with the Language Pack extensions.
  • Developer Pack:* This add-on is aimed at developers and power users. It unlocks a range of developer tools, including remote node management for Docker (for managing containers on other nodes directly via Plesk®) and advanced performance analysis tools such as Google PageSpeed Insights Pro.
  • Power Pack: A bundle of additional features that makes your Plesk® even more versatile. The Power Pack includes, for example, extended security functions (anti-virus protection for mails, DNSSEC support) and the Joomla! toolkit.
